Job Description
3. Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
4. Monitor budgets and forecasts, providing insights to support business decisions.
5. Collaborate with department heads to manage financial performance and address variances.
6. Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors.
7. Oversee cash flow management, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
8. Maintain and improve financial reporting systems and processes.
9. Support the finance team in delivering key projects and initiatives.
10. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements in all financial activities.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
11. A recognised qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
12. Strong technical accounting skills and an understanding of management reporting.
13. Proficiency in financial systems and Excel.
14. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
15. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
16. The ability to work effectively within a team and communicate financial data clearly.
