Overview
Deputy Store Manager role at B&M Retail in Ipswich. The Deputy Store Manager supports the Store Manager in running all store operations, leads on the floor, and helps develop the team to reach store goals. You will work closely with the Store Manager to deliver excellent store standards and maximise sales, and you will be on the floor actively coaching and inspiring your team.
Responsibilities
* Be a supportive leader: assist your Store Manager in running the store with passion, lead by example and drive teamwork
* Embrace pace: work in a fast-paced environment with large stock volumes
* Set the standard: maintain excellent store standards and consistently deliver KPIs
* Coach a winning team: develop your team, identify talent and train them to achieve success
* Love retail: bring your commercial knowledge to your team and store
* Drive compliance: support stocktakes, Health & Safety and people processes
To be successful / Qualifications
* Management experience in a fast-paced, high turnover retail environment
* Experience managing medium to large teams
* History of working towards and delivering KPIs
* Flexibility to work a range of hours, including weekends and bank holidays
* Experience in an FMCG/big box setting is ideal but not essential
