We’re on the lookout for a talented Fire & Security Installation / Small Works Engineer to join our expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives on variety, takes pride in quality workmanship, and enjoys working across different commercial environments.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for the installation, servicing, and commissioning of a range of fire and security systems. Working predominantly on commercial and retail sites—including petrol stations and motorway services—you’ll ensure systems are installed and maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities

Install, service, and commission fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems
*
Diagnose faults and carry out effective troubleshooting
*
Complete all documentation and reports accurately and promptly
*
Liaise professionally with clients and uphold high standards of customer service
*
Ensure all work complies with current health and safety regulations
*
Travel across the UK with occasional overnight stays as required
What We’re Looking For
*
Minimum 4 years’ experience in fire and security system installations
*
Competent across multiple disciplines: fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms
*
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
*
A flexible, can-do attitude with a focus on problem-solving and attention to detail
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Relevant industry qualifications (preferred but not essential—training will be provided)
