We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Female Healthcare Assistant to join our home care team in Telford and surrounding areas .
This is a community-based home care role, supporting clients in their own homes, not in a care home setting. You will provide high-quality, person-centred support to help individuals remain safe, comfortable, and independent in familiar surroundings.
What Home Care Involves
Home care is a broad term for professional support delivered in a persons own home. It can range from companionship and personal care to more complex support needs, depending on the individual.
Unlike care home work, this role involves:
* Visiting service users in their own homes
* Providing one-to-one, personalised care
* Supporting independence in the community
* Travelling between calls
Home care can include a wide range of support and may be tailored to people with higher or more complex needs, unlike standard residential care settings where care is delivered within one location.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
* Supporting with medication prompts
* Assisting with meal preparation and light household duties
* Offering companionship and emotional support
* Following individual care plans
* Reporting any changes in a service users condition or wellbeing
Requirements
* Female applicants only
* Must be a driver
* Previous home care experience is essential
* Available to start immediately
* Good communication skills
* Caring, dependable, and professional approach
* Right to work in the UK
