Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate care manager who either already a domiciliary care manager, deputy manager or senior supervisor level and has been responsible for day-to-day operations of a homecare branch. You will be working with the Registered manager in offering effective leadership and flexible service in Homecare setting. (Our service is mainly consisting of looking after enhanced care needs)
Your Role;
* Oversee daily operations, ensuring outstanding service delivery.
* Maintain and build service user's safety and relationships.
* Mobilise a team of carers ensuring staff safety, service standard and care needs
* Recruit, train, and support care team including in the field.
* Ensure policies and procedures are followed across the service.
* Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory standards, including recruitment and appraisals.
* Ensure accurate set of record is maintained for the service.
* Be a role model for good discipline and punctuality motivating your team.
* Develop a positive working environment for staff.
* Lead quality assurance initiatives and service improvements.
* Engage in service improvement initiative with higher management.
* Involve in marketing to improve awareness of the service.
* Manage and responsible of Oncall rota, for phone enquires.
**** You will NOT be responsible of Payroll or Accounting matters
Personal Characteristics:
* Already have Right to Work full-time in the UK – not open for sponsorship
* The ability to keep calm under pressure.
* The confidence to work as part of a team and manage people.
* Experience in supporting adults with complex care needs, and children in various settings will be an advantage
* Excellent communication skills
* The passion to work with vulnerable people
* The desire and commitment to achieve high standards of safeguarding
* Diploma in Health and Social Care NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent will be an advantage.
* Be a driver and access to a vehicle is essential.
