Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the CP & CIN Team for the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide effective statutory social work services to Children in Need and those subject to Child Protection plans.
* Complete comprehensive assessments, care planning and review processes in line with statutory requirements.
* Identify when children are unable to live safely at home and progress permanence planning within appropriate timescales.
* Manage complex caseloads including Child Protection, Children in Need, Looked After Children and Care Leavers.
* Lead and coordinate multi-agency safeguarding activity to ensure children's needs are met.
* Work in partnership with parents and carers to reduce risk and strengthen safeguarding outcomes.
* Support foster carers, special guardians and adopters to ensure children achieve stability, health and educational progress.
* Maintain accurate and timely case recordings and reports in accordance with legislation and local procedures.

Pay Rate:
* £37.52 p/h Umb
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Minimum 3 years' experience within Children's Social Care
* Experience within Child Protection and Children in Need teams
* Social Work England Registration
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures
