Job Details
* Job Title: Store Assistant Manager
* Employment Terms: Permanent, 14 hours per week, Monday – Sunday based on a 7-day rota.
* Location: Bromley
Responsibilities
* Report into the Store Manager and take on tasks allocated by them, or lead in their absence and run the store, including opening and closing responsibilities.
* Oversee all areas of our stock journey—sorting, pricing, displaying donations, and making sales.
* Supervise a team of extraordinary volunteers, creating a welcoming environment while getting the job done.
Qualifications
* Good experience in a busy, hands‑on environment and getting things done at pace.
* Experience in a customer‑facing environment delivering great customer service.
* Retail experience is desirable but not essential.
* Management or supervisory experience is advantageous.
* Strong people skills and ability to lead and supervise a group of volunteers.
* Ability to problem‑solve, work under pressure, be self‑motivated and driven.
