Are you highly organised, detail-oriented with a background in finance and/or HR administration? Can you manage your own time to work to deadlines? Do you have great interpersonal and IT skills?
This is a varied role that plays a key part in ensuring the smooth running of our school operations. The successful candidate will work closely with the School Business Manager, supporting with financial processing and HR administration tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Support
* Raise purchase orders and process invoices
* Complete regular payment runs and maintain accurate financial records
* Prepare monthly VAT returns
* Carry out monthly bank and procurement card reconciliations
HR Administrative Support
* Assist with recruitment processes including advertising roles and processing applications
* Process new starters, contract changes and leavers
* Maintain the Single Central Record and staff profiles on our MIS
* Support with staff absence monitoring, timesheets, and related reporting and communications
About You
We are looking for someone who;
Has recent experience working in a financial and/or HR environment
Is highly organised and able to confidently multi-task
Is able to work to a high level of accuracy and has strong numeracy skills
Has excellent IT skills and can quickly learn new systems
Can handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Builds positive relationships and works collaboratively with colleagues at all levels
The role is to work Monday to Friday, with flexibility around start and finish times
We are offering a permanent contract, subject to the successful completion of a 6 month probation period
The successful candidate will be required to start in November or December 2025
