Next Ventures are urgently looking an Oracle Cloud HCM and Payroll specialistfor a new project in the North West of England
NOTE: INSIDE IR35
Job Title: Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Consultants
Location: United Kingdom (Hybrid/Remote options as required)
Contract Duration: 9–12 months (starting 1 October [Year])
Engagement: Contract / Freelance / Outside IR35 (as applicable)
Responsibilities
* Lead functional design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle Cloud HCM modules, including:
o CoreHR
o Payroll
o Performance Management
o Learning and Development
o Career Development
o Talent Management
* Conduct requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution design workshops.
* Configure Oracle Fusion HCM applications to meet client-specific needs and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with technical teams for integrations, data migration, and reporting (OTBI/BIP).
* Develop and execute test plans (unit, system, UAT) and support end-user training.
* Provide post-go-live support, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements.
* Prepare project documentation, configuration workbooks, and functional design specifications.
Required Skills & Experience
* 5+ years of hands-on Oracle Fusion HCM Functional experience.
* Proven expertise in at least three of the following modules: Core HR, Payroll, Performance, Learning & Development, Career Development, Talent Management.
* Strong understanding of UK HR processes, payroll regulations, and statutory compliance.
* Full lifecycle implementation experience: requirements, design, build, testing, and deployment.
* Ability to write functional design documents and collaborate with developers on RICEW components.
* Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Desirable
* Oracle Cloud HCM certification(s).
* Experience with OTBI, BI Publisher, and fast formulas.
* Prior experience with UK-based or EMEA multi-country implementations.
