About the Opportunity
Leader Recruitment Group is excited to collaborate with a respected provider to recruit a dynamic Children's Home Manager for a 4-bed residential home in Hatfield, specialising in Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a dedicated team, deliver outstanding care, and shape the lives of young people in a nurturing, therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of the home's operations, ensuring exceptional care and compliance with Ofsted and Children's Homes Regulations.
* Drive strategic planning and service development to achieve outstanding outcomes for young people.
* Lead, mentor, and train staff, overseeing work patterns, appraisals, and QCF Level 3 care-focused training.
* Foster trusting relationships with children to support their emotional growth and recovery.
* Act as a positive role model, creating a safe and supportive environment for both staff and young people.
* Oversee budgets, financial performance, and safeguarding to maintain high standards.
* Collaborate with external professionals to promote the well-being of young people.
About You
* Essential:
o Minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior role within a children's residential setting.
o Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People's Workforce; achieved or working towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Children and Young People's Management).
o Strong understanding of The Children Act 1989, Children's Homes Regulations, and safeguarding protocols.
o Proven experience in budget and financial management.
o Full UK Driving Licence and flexibility for on-call duties.
o A proactive, enthusiastic leader with a hands-on approach to people management.
o A track record of delivering high Ofsted ratings.
