Operate trim press, trim, inspect, and pack castings according to department procedures and part number work instructions. Read and follow documented work instructions daily. Enter production counts into Guardian and complete P-Charts as needed. Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Carry out duties as directed by the Die Cast Shift Supervisor or Trim Supervisor. Observe all Boyd safety and OSHA guidelines and procedures. Support and follow the QMS requirements.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to communicate professionally with employees at all times.
Knowledge
Previous factory experience required. Basic reasoning and language skills. Ability to complete shop paperwork.
Training
Working knowledge of all procedures outlined in the QMS Procedures - Master List.
Physical Demands
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear regularly. Frequently use hands to handle tools and controls. Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Vision abilities required include close and distance vision, color, peripheral, and focus.
Typically loud to extremely loud. Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, toxic, caustic chemicals, and hazardous materials. Reasonable accommodations can be made for disabilities.
