Premises Manager 7am - 5pm £18 - £20 ph Main Purpose of the Role To carry out a full range of duties to ensure high standards of cleanliness, security, and maintenance across the premises. The role will be undertaken under the general supervision of the School Business Manager, Estates Manager, and Headteacher. Main Responsibilities Security and Access Act as the main key holder and be responsible for the security of the premises. Lock and unlock the premises outside of normal operating hours and set security alarm systems as required. Respond to security alarms or other call-outs in accordance with agreed procedures.Transport Duties Act as the main driver for the staff and student shuttle service, operating three return services per day during term time. Undertake additional driving duties as required.Maintenance and Compliance Carry out and record regular checks on play equipment, legionella risks, alarm systems, ladders, and fire extinguishers, reporting any issues identified. Identify and report defects relating to buildings, furniture, or fittings to senior staff and carry out remedial actions where appropriate. Arrange emergency repairs and obtain contractor quotations when required.
