Job Title: Human Resources Intern

Location: Motherwell (hybrid)

Role Type: 12 month Internship

Job Summary:

We are an opportunity for a HR Intern to join us at Honeywell, in Motherwell, where you will have exposure to HR projects, and general day to day HR activities.

This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model with a choice of days worked:

Monday to Thursday: 0800-1630 Friday 0800-1330

OR

Monday to Friday: 0900-1715

This role is part of our University Relations program, designed to help students and recent graduates launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell.

This internship is set up for 12 months, starting from October 2025.

Key responsibilities:

1. Engage in project work across the UK and Ireland, focusing on payroll, business movements, and growth initiatives to broaden HR knowledge and experience.
2. Support day-to-day HR activities, ensuring smooth operations within the HR department
3. Partner with Talent Acquisition as a HR Partner
4. Represent the business at career fairs and shows, promoting Honeywell as a great place to work
5. Assist in organising and coordinating inclusion and engagement activities such as seasonal and charity events, fundraising efforts, and team-building activities.
6. Gain opportunities to present your findings and insights to Business Leaders throughout Honeywell, enhancing visibility and communication

Key skills and qualifications:

7. Hold degree in Human Resources or be a qualified member of the CIPD, having qualified / graduated no earlier 2024
8. A minimum of a C or level 4 in maths GCSE or equivalent
9. Business level written and verbal communication skills in the English language
10. Experience in producing PowerPoint Presentations and working with data in MS Excel
11. Currently reside within an easy commute of Motherwell
