Our client, a leading airline within the aerospace MRO sector, is seeking a Manager Engineering to join their dynamic team at their London Line Maintenance station. This permanent position offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated engineering team within a close-knit environment, ensuring the continuous and safe operation of air services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership and direction for the maintenance organisation to meet operational and business objectives.
* Serve as the CAA Nominated Postholder for Part-145, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Oversee the prioritisation and allocation of line maintenance resources in collaboration with Maintrol.
* Manage the Line Maintenance team, including training, performance management, and engagement.
* Address compliance and safety occurrence reports by establishing root cause and implementing corrective actions.
* Drive continuous improvement of departmental processes, communication, and procedures.
* Ensure the team meets operational performance targets, including Technical Dispatch Reliability (TDR) and ADD levels.
* Develop and manage departmental budgets to ensure cost-effective service provision.
* Maintain adequate resource levels to meet high operational standards.
* Uphold strong relationships with London City Airport regarding engineering matters.
* Support ad hoc projects and wider Engineering initiatives as required.

Experience:
* Licensed Aircraft Engineer or equivalent technical/operational qualification; must meet CAA Nominated Postholder requirements for Part-145.
* Working knowledge of engineering processes, procedures, and Part 145 and Part M/CAMO requirements.
