Kenna Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Document Controller to join one of the UK's largest developers in their stunning Head Office in North London. This is a brand new role within the business and they are looking for someone with knowledge and experience within the construction industry who can come in to support the Design Team. Asite experience is required.Overview:The Document Controller manages the document control systems and processes for the development from initial set-up to project completion, taking great pride in having a system with the highest possible standards.They will take great pride in creating and supporting that has the highest organisational standards and attention to detail.What they will expect from you:Create an effective system within the project EDMS for coordinating and tracking the design informationCoordinate technical drawings, distribute to contractors and consultants, tracking document status and chasing consultants to close out design periodsRespond to any Asite queries from internal and external stakeholdersRegularly report on document status issues, delays on drawings, technical subs and RFI’s highlighting concerns and potential delaysBe the Asite subject expert, training colleagues and implementing clear protocols & procedures for both internal and external colleaguesManage the Asite information requests, and track progress to completionEffectively administer and manage the document control system including uploading and downloading drawings, distributing controlled copies of information, scanning and uploading received hard copy documents, maintaining up to date drawing files and registers, collating and issuing of drawings and tender packages.Have a positive, collaborative and proactive approach to issues and complicated situationsWork closely with external consultants so they achieve our standards, and confidently request changes be made if such standards are not metManage the O&M process providing documents for the client / Estate Management Team and work closely with an appointed O&M provider to coordinate the handover of deliverablesWhat can we offer you?Salary up to £45,000Competitive contributory pension schemeLife assurancePrivate healthcareUp to 28 days annual leave plus bank holidaysShare incentive schemes1 day WFH (2 days after passing probation)Employee rewards portal with many more benefits…
