Overview
With a focus on managing, growing, and retaining channel partnerships, the Channel Partner Account Manager will work closely with both internal teams and external partners to ensure relationships are strategically nurtured, revenue opportunities are maximized, and long-term success is achieved. This role requires a proactive approach to partner enablement, performance management, and driving cross-sell and upsell opportunities through our channel network.
Success in this role will come from building strong relationships with key partner stakeholders, ensuring they are supported, trained, and motivated to drive mutual business growth. We are looking for someone who excels in partner relationship management, sales strategy execution, and delivering outstanding service, all while identifying and closing new opportunities within existing accounts.
Previous B2B sales experience, particularly within a channel or partner sales environment, is essential. You should be driven, adaptable, and motivated to help our partners succeed while maximizing revenue potential. You will be joining a rapidly growing team that continually strives to exceed expectations. Given the evolving nature of our business, you should be comfortable with a flexible approach and ready to adapt as our partner ecosystem and service offerings expand.
Our standard working hours are 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities
* Manage and nurture existing channel partnerships, ensuring a best-in-class experience to drive retention and long-term success.
* Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners, ensuring they have the necessary training, resources, and support to drive mutual business growth.
* Drive new revenue streams within the partner network through consultative engagement and value-added service offerings, while promoting upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
* Maintain regular communication with key stakeholders within partner organizations to strengthen relationships and maximize growth potential.
* Ensure all partner activity, pipeline opportunities, and performance metrics are accurately recorded and kept up to date within our CRM system (we use Pipedrive).
* Act as a trusted advisor to partners, providing insights, training, and guidance on products, services, and industry trends to help them succeed.
* Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, and technical teams) to provide partners with the support and resources needed to drive sales and adoption.
* Provide feedback to sales leadership on partner performance, market intelligence, and objection handling to refine strategies and improve engagement.
* Any other appropriate duties aligned with the role and expertise of the post holder.
Skills and experience required
* Previous experience in a B2B (Business-to-Business) Channel Sales or Partner Account Management role is essential, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets through channel partnerships.
* Ability to build strong relationships with channel partners, effectively communicate value propositions, and establish trust with key stakeholders.
* Ability to learn new technology and train, support, and enable partners to successfully sell and demo products to their customers.
* Minimum of three years of sales experience, ideally in an IT or Cyber Security environment, with a strong understanding of channel sales models.
* Partner-first mindset, with the ability to understand partner needs, provide tailored solutions, and support their success while handling objections and removing barriers.
* Self-starter, highly motivated, and able to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively with internal and external teams.
* Ability to deliver engaging presentations and training sessions to partner teams, both remotely and in person.
* Positive, engaging, and confident telephone manner, with the ability to influence and persuade.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills, along with experience using a CRM (we use Pipedrive, with full training provided).
* Team player willing to contribute ideas and go above and beyond to support the continued growth of our partner network and company.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple partner relationships effectively.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create compelling partner communications.
* Professional, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering a high standard of work.
