Multi Skilled Engineer - Kent Salary: Up to £43,500 per annum 06:00am to 18:00pm 3 on 4 off

The RoleA Multi-Skilled Engineer is required to support both planned and reactive maintenance across a busy production facility. You will work as part of a small on-shift engineering team responsible for keeping equipment running safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.
This position is ideal for someone who has worked in print, packaging, industrial manufacturing or a factory setting, where reliability and rapid fault resolution are crucial.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance to optimise equipment performance.
* Respond quickly to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and implement effective repairs.
* Maintain and support a range of production machinery, which may include:
o Print presses
o Binding or finishing equipment
o Automated conveyors
o Packaging or handling systems
* Assist in installing, testing, and commissioning new equipment or upgrades.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance uptime and efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with all health & safety and quality standards.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Experience in print, manufacturing, or factory-based engineering.
* Multi-skilled background with strong mechanical and electrical competencies.
* Ability to fault-find on complex systems, including automated machinery.
* Comfortable working in a high-volume, time-critical production environment.
* Strong communication skills and capable of working independently on shift.
* Proactive, reliable, and safety-focused mindset.
