TXM Recruit are supporting a rail business to recruit several Engineering Technicians you will support the maintenance of a fleet of rail vehicles, carrying out both planned and unplanned maintenance activities. Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance, fault diagnosis, repair, and servicing of rolling stock to a high standard and in line with engineering best practices. Work in accordance with technical, operational, and environmental procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and maintenance schedules. Follow Fleet Standards documentation, including Depot Maintenance Schedules, Technical Instructions, Job Cards, and other issued materials. Support productivity and efficiency initiatives within the maintenance team as directed by the Duty Fleet Manager or their delegate. Comply with all safe working practices, depot protection measures, and company health & safety requirements. Maintain high standards of depot housekeeping and contribute to a positive safety culture. Adhere to instructions and guidance from supervisors and managers. Follow industry rules and regulations, including Network Rail standards where applicable. Undertake diagnostic reviews and update electronic documentation as required. Perform additional duties as required by management.
