An ambitious and forward thinking secondary school in Hertfordshire is seeking an exceptional Head of Maths to lead a successful department from September. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Head of Maths who is passionate about raising achievement, inspiring young people and developing an outstanding maths curriculum.

This role would suit an experienced Head of Maths or an ambitious Maths teacher ready to take the next step into leadership.
The Role – Head of Maths
As Head of Maths, you will:
• Lead and develop a high performing Maths department
• Drive outstanding teaching and learning across Key Stages 3–5
• Support and develop teachers within the department
• Use data effectively to raise attainment and progress
• Promote a love of mathematics across the school community
• Play a key role within the wider leadership of the school

• Hold UK QTS
• Be an excellent classroom practitioner
• Have strong subject knowledge and leadership skills
