An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Housekeeper to work alongside our friendly and motivated team of nurses and health care professionals on a busy community hospital.
Main Duties
We require someone dynamic, proactive, and enthusiastic with the ability to work well on their own and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
The housekeeper role incorporates an array of non‑clinical duties including ordering and organising stores to ensure stock levels are maintained, completing daily and weekly audits, challenging non‑compliance, escalating findings to the ward manager or nurse in charge, and feeding back to staff to ensure that high standards of nursing care are adhered to at all times.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Person Specification
* Relevant NVQ 2
* GCSE A‑C or equivalent
* Willing to work towards NVQ level 3
* NVQ level 3 (desirable)
* Demonstrate competence at working at band 3 level
* Understanding of hospital environment
* Basic knowledge of the needs of patients and their relatives
* Works well as part of a team
* Flexible approach to work
