About the role…
We are seeking a Finance Analyst to join our team on a full-time, hybrid working basis from our Chorley office. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will be responsible for Accounts Payable reporting, ensuring accurate and timely outputs for both internal and external stakeholders. You will also support on cashflow reporting and forecast consolidation.

What will your day look like…
* Producing weekly and monthly payment statistics and managing end-to-end payment proposal reporting.
* Supporting the preparation of Payment Practices Performance Reporting for government submission.
* Creating and maintaining the Monthly Performance Pack, highlighting key Accounts Payable KPIs for senior review.
* Driving improvements and efficiencies across Accounts Payable reporting and processes.
* Assisting the FP&A Manager with cashflow reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, and budget consolidation.
* Providing ongoing Accounts Payable support, including invoice posting for holiday cover, alongside ad-hoc finance projects.
About you…
You will bring a strong academic background, ideally with an accounting qualification such as AAT or part/fully qualified CIMA/ACCA, though relevant experience will also be considered. With advanced Excel skills and experience using Oracle Netsuite or similar financial systems, you'll have a solid understanding of Accounts Payable processes, payment cycles, and financial controls. You're confident in working with forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting, and familiar with UK financial regulations such as Payment Practices Reporting. Above all, you're a clear communicator who can work effectively across both finance and non-finance teams.
