We are recruiting Warehouse Operatives for our client in Barnsley, working in a chilled environment you will be picking food items for a leading food retailer ensuring you hit daily target amounts.
IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE OR LIVE WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF S71 3HW DUE TO SHIFT FINISH TIME.
Ideal skills and experience:
Some warehouse experience is preferred but not necessary. You will be given training but must have an eye for detail when checking goods and picking.
Key responsibilities:
As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will involve day to day responsibilities on a warehouse shop floor, including:
Ensuring products are processed and handled correctly.
Operating Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Picking items using voice pickers and scanners.
Working in 0-4 degree temperatures.
Adhere to all health and safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Adhere to daily pick targets
Using a pump truck
Hours of work:
Any 5 out of 7 - Weekend work will be required
4pm-Finish
Flexibility to work extra at peak times is required.
Pay rate:
£12.21 per hour up to 6pm
£14.61 per hour after 6pm
