Marketing Manager will work closely with the Global Brand Marketing Manager, Director of Marketing, and the General Manager to plan and maintain the brand identity through strategic planning and activation. The role involves the day-to-day execution of activities supporting Shanghai Me London. It requires organization, flexibility, and creativity. The Marketing Manager will report directly to the Global Brand Marketing Manager, Director of Marketing, and the General Manager. Knowledge and interest in the F&B, brand, and marketing industries are essential, with a willingness to learn more.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Creating content briefs for marketing activations
* Proposing a localized marketing calendar to the Global Brand Marketing Manager
* Supporting activation execution in the restaurant
* Overseeing events as a full owner, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and keeping the global brand marketing manager informed
* Assisting with private dining events, including resource management and communication
* Proposing a social media calendar with a localized approach
* Managing digital campaigns to increase awareness and build brand loyalty
* Collaborating with the brand and operations teams for effective communication
* Developing brand collaterals and maintaining consistent tone of voice across platforms
* Responding to guest messages across platforms
* Managing external agencies to deliver results that enhance brand visibility
* Maintaining records of challenges and achievements through monthly reports
* Ensuring brand standards are met in collaboration with the Brand Manager
* Coordinating photoshoots and videoshoots
* Preparing monthly BRM reports including social media, PR, and digital marketing metrics
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
* 4-5 years in Brand/Marketing, preferably within the F&B industry
* Proficiency in the local language
* Hospitality/F&B background
* Knowledge of the London F&B scene
* Awareness of current cultural, social, and dining trends
* Ability to work independently
* Experience collaborating with operations teams (FOH and BOH)
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Highly organized, articulate, patient, hospitable, creative, and positive
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a global team
* Capable of working under pressure
* Attention to quality and detail
* Experience in content creation, digital marketing, events, budgeting, reporting, and agency management
* Self-starter with a solution-oriented mindset
* Educational background in marketing preferred
* Excellent social media skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Mailchimp, Canva
