We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join Paragon's Warehouse team in Bristol, working night shifts on a 4-on, 4-off rotation.
As a Warehouse Operative, you'll play a key role in supporting the warehouse and dispatch function, ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and efficiently. This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with colleagues across departments to keep operations running smoothly and help maintain the highest standards of service.
Hours: 7:00pm – 7:00am, 4-on, 4-off shift pattern.
Main Responsibilities:
* Load and unload lorries with palletised goods for storage in the warehouse or yard.
* Collect goods from departments for dispatch and manage outgoing shipments via the inventory system.
* Unload consumables from suppliers, stack in the yard, and deliver to production areas.
* Carry out daily consumable audits and maintain accurate stock records.
* Ensure all due work is dispatched; escalate any issues to the Shift Manager.
* Check incoming goods meet quality requirements and book them accurately into the warehouse system.
* Store pallets in racking using a reach forklift.
* Locate goods for pick and dispatch using the warehouse system and scanners, assembling orders with accuracy.
* Complete paperwork in line with warehouse processes.
* Replenish pick locations and return unused stock to correct locations.
* Manage pallets, wrapping and labelling where required.
* Maintain high housekeeping standards across the warehouse.
* Work with other departments to ensure client SLAs are met.
* Support continuous improvement in warehouse processes.
* Undertake additional warehouse tasks as directed by senior staff or management.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Previous warehouse experience desirable, but full training can be provided.
* Forklift licence preferred but not essential (training available).
* Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
* Good teamwork and communication skills.
* Reliable, proactive, and able to work to tight deadlines.
* Commitment to health, safety, and high housekeeping standards.
