TeacherActive is delighted to be working alongside a welcoming and well-respected SEND provision in South Birmingham. The school delivers a creative and flexible curriculum tailored to meet the needs of students aged 5 – 11, most of whom are diagnosed with ASD, SLD, or ADD/ADHD.
The school\'s ethos centres around inclusivity, independence, and emotional development, with a strong focus on life skills and social learning alongside academic growth.
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging, adapted lessons across all Key Stages (KS1–KS2)
* Support pupils with a range of needs including ASD, SLD, PMLD, ADD, and ADHD
* Use therapeutic approaches to enhance learning and wellbeing
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Proven experience working with SEND pupils
* A calm, adaptable, and nurturing teaching style
* Experience or willingness to use therapeutic practices
