Mechanical Maintenance Engineer required to join an established and successful manufacturing business offering competitive salary of over £52K and additional earning opportunities (shift cover overtime across the year pushing earnings to over £60K, and a comprehensive benefits package. You will be working for a well organised company within a supportive and innovative maintenance team on a wide range of heavy industry equipment dealing break downs, service and installation tasks as well as machine improvement and retrofitting activities. You will be level 3 qualified with a good grounding in machine maintenance able to repair hydraulics, bearings and pulleys etc with some fabrication welding ability. Location: Kidderminster Shifts: 4 on 4 off - Day and night As Mechanical Maintenance Engineer You Will: Install and maintain all electrical & electro-mechanical plant equipment, ensuring operational efficiency. Operate a preventative electrical maintenance system to minimize downtime and maintain quality standards. Conduct fault finding and repairs, enhancing the reliability of production processes. Use various types of testing equipment to locate and remedy faults, ensuring high standards of safety and efficiency. What You Will Bring: A minimum level 3 qualification in a Mechanical Engineering discipline, coupled with experience in a manufacturing/factory environment. Apprenticeship served A strong commitment to safety, with experience in health and safety best practices. Experience and knowledge of motors and pneumatics. Excellent team-playing skills, communication abilities, and a flexible approach to work. Welding and fabrication skills Analytical & problem-solving skills, capable of diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently.
