Northampton DHS is located in the rural setting of Northampton. Providing high quality education for the local community, it caters to children from Kindergarten to Year 10.
The school has nine all-purpose classrooms that are used by both the Primary and Secondary students. It has a custom-built library, Early Childhood Centre, manual arts room, home economics room and art room.

Northampton is located 54km from Geraldton and is one of Western Australia’s oldest towns. It is rich in history and beauty and there is something for everyone to see and do here. Horrocks is located 15 minutes to the west of town which amazing beaches and coastal lifestyle. The Role
The successful applicant will ideally have sound interpersonal skills, enthusiasm and the ability to work cooperatively in a team. Sound classroom management, the ability to develop rapport and motivate students, the ability to differentiate curriculum to cater for individual student needs and the ability to practise a range of teaching strategies are highly desirable for this position.
The successful applicant will ideally be a teacher who can engage students and challenge them to achieve their personal best. You should be able to work effectively in a team and independently, while supporting the initiatives and programs in Design and Technology. In addition, you would engage in professional learning and liaise with colleagues, parents, and external networks.
Northampton DHS offers a well equipped workshop for Woodwork, Metalwork and Jewellery. The successful applicant will be teaching small class sizes with engaged students.
