Wrap Around Care Assistant job summary
From 3rd September 2025 we are offering our school families Wrap Around Care before and after school. We are looking for dynamic individuals to organise the provision and provide a high standard of care and play opportunities. The provision will need to provide a stimulating play environment for pupils aged from 4 to 11 years.
We are looking for individuals who can:
Maintain a safe, secure and stimulating play environment, and assist with developing opportunities which encourage children's social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional development through play.
Assist with the planning, preparing and delivery of activities, which meet children's individual developmental needs.
Assist in delivering and supervising breakfast and teatime refreshments for the children.
Support all children by promoting positive strategies for unwanted behaviour, in line with the School's Behaviour Management Policy.
Follow guidelines and procedures for safeguarding, in accordance with the school's policy and procedures
The hours of work will be:
Breakfast Club
7.45am to 9am for 38 weeks a year
After school Club
3.10pm to 6.10pm 38 weeks a year
We are seeking to recruit 2 Assistants for the Breakfast Club and 2 Assistants for the After School provision, we will also consider candidates who wish to consider a role across both provisions. The positions will be for a fixed term period until 31st August 2026 with a view to being made permanent.
