We understand that many children in our care have faced disrupted childhoods. Our goal is to break this cycle by carefully matching the right foster parents with the right children, providing unwavering support and guidance along the way.

We are on the hunt for a qualified and experienced Social Worker who is not only enthusiastic and committed but also appreciates the vital role of foster parents. Your collaborative approach will be key in promoting meaningful supervision of placements.
In this demanding role, you will balance quality assurance and training for both prospective and current foster parents. Strong report writing skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines are essential.

* Previous experience in children and families social work
* Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation pertaining to children's services
* Good IT skills
* Flexibility in working patterns and travel

Your Responsibilities
* Provide direct support to foster parents with a manageable caseload for effective supervision
* Conduct regular supervision sessions, monitoring compliance with regulatory standards
* Collaborate with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to ensure full participation in safeguarding and child protection processes
The successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS Check, with costs covered by Fosterplus.
