The EY Foundation is expanding its influence team by recruiting a
Policy and Research Officer. This role will be crucial in shaping evidence-based policy, supporting external communications, and leading research projects to help young people from low-income backgrounds access employment opportunities. Based in London, Birmingham, Manchester, or Glasgow, the successful candidate will report to the Policy and Public Affairs Manager. Key responsibilities include: Research:
Conduct landscape reviews, maintain PESTLE analyses, develop research briefs, and advise on methodologies. Project Management:
Lead research projects, coordinate timelines, and organize stakeholder engagement events. Policy and Stakeholder Engagement:
Produce policy briefings, draft responses, prepare presentations, and manage stakeholder relationships. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in analytical methodologies, strong communication skills, project management capabilities, and experience engaging with policymakers and stakeholders. A relevant degree and experience in research, policy, or related fields are required, with desirable skills in data visualization and participatory research methods.
