Are you a proactive, passionate, and committed leader looking for a role where you can truly make an impact? We are looking for a College Residential Team Leader, to cover maternity leave, to support the delivery of high-quality care for young people with vision impairment and complex needs at InFocus Charity.
As first-line manager, you will motivate, inspire, and support the Residential Care team, ensuring they deliver safe, person-centred support to our young people in an engaging and meaningful way.
About the Role
As a College Residential Team Leader, you will:
* Lead and support the care team, ensuring high standards of care and safety.
* Encourage social engagement, helping young people participate in activities such as swimming, social clubs, and community outings.
* Coordinate day-to-day activities, staffing schedules, and larger events like holidays, festivals, and parties.
* Support young people in making their own decisions and reaching their full potential in a person-centred way.
* Conduct staff supervisions, support onboarding for new employees, and drive continuous improvements within the service.
You will be fully supported with a structured induction programme, training, and ongoing professional development, alongside guidance from our Residential Support Manager and Head of Care.

About You
We're looking for someone who:

* Leads by example, inspiring and motivating their team.
* Sees potential in everyone and enjoys helping others achieve their goals.
* Is organised, proactive, and confident in managing staff, activities, and events.
You'll be working as part of a close-knit, supportive team, with access to regular supervision and development opportunities.
Working Pattern
College Rota (A):
* Our 2-week rolling A Rota, averaging 37 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.
