Synechron is looking for a Delivery Manager for an Application Migration project for a national energy firm. The role is accountable for the delivery of application migration initiatives, ensuring work is planned, governed, and delivered in a way that supports organisational objectives while managing risk and uncertainty.Operating in environments where requirements and constraints may evolve, the Delivery Manager is expected to navigate ambiguity, influence across organisational boundaries, and drive clear ownership and resolution of issues, ensuring successful and sustainable migration outcomes.Role:Lead in identifying, driving ownership of, and resolution to problemsFocus on outcomes and data points to reflect successShape delivery plans, roadmaps, and milestonesEnsure dependencies across technology, operations, policy, and data are understood and managedOversee forecasting, capacity planning, and sequencingProvide clear visibility of progress, risks, and trade-offsOperate within a regulated environment, ensuring appropriate controls are in placeManage delivery risks, issues, and escalationsWork closely with assurance, architecture, and regulatory stakeholdersActs as a key interface between: Technology teams, Business and operational leaders, External vendors and delivery partners, Senior executives and governance forums, Aligns diverse stakeholder needs into a coherent delivery approachExperience:8+ years as Project Manager in highly regulated, safety-critical environmentOwning delivery of large, complex, and often multi-year initiativesDelivery focused problem solverEnsuring work is delivered on time, within agreed constraints, and to the required qualityManaging delivery across multiple teams, suppliers, and partnersExperience in software build, deploy and runComfortable in uncertain scenarios requiting the ability to navigate, influence and deliver outcomesThis is a permanent or inside IR35 contract role - Strong market rates - Feb start date - Likely long term - Predominantly remote work with occasional travel requiredDiversity StatementSynechron are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
