Embrace Excellence
This purpose of this role is to manage stock assessment, remnant stock, master data and the repatriation of stock. In addition, the role holder will assess and maintain stock planning work instructions, carry out risk reviews and to support the implementation of process and system improvements within the team.
The role holder will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders particularly whisky mastery, group warehouse teams, The Macallan cooperage, and I.T. functions.
Make an Impact
9. Stock Planning & Analysis: Act as key contact for Macallan stock assessment, analyse/select stock, and monitor progress
10. Data & Systems Management: Maintain master data in Edrington’s stock system; update processes and documentation
11. Cask Repatriation: Consolidate annual requirements, plan transport, and manage operational tasks
12. Process & IT Improvements: Drive efficiency initiatives, track IT requests, and test new processes
13. Monitoring & Reporting: Track remnant volumes, improvement initiatives, and KPIs
14. Team Support & Training: Provide training, coordinate risk reviews, and support projects/new product developments
Your Talent and Skills
15. Excellent organisational skills with specific focus on attention to detail.
16. Proficient in use of MS office and Outlook, knowledge of Power BI would be advantageous.
17. Excellent communication skills.
18. Experience interacting with other cross functional teams and external parties.
19. Continuous improvement and collaboration mindset.
20. Previous planning experience, ideally within whisky industry.
21. Effective problem solver with ability to multi-task and prioritise.
22. Knowledge of the whisky making process would also be advantageous.
