Were looking for a Learning Support Assistant - Outreach to join our team at Fieldstone School. This is a unique opportunity to support pupils outside of the traditional classroom setting, including in homes, community spaces, and alternative provisions. Working under the guidance of the Outreach Lead and Deputy Principal, you will play a key role in delivering bespoke support to learners with special educational needs, helping them engage positively with their education and build confidence in everyday life.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the planning and delivery of individualised programmes tailored to pupils needs.
* Working across various outreach settings - including home environments, community venues, and alternative provisions.
* Creating and maintaining a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment wherever support is delivered.
* Promoting emotional wellbeing and social development by modelling and encouraging positive behaviour.
* Collaborating with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure consistent support.
* Upholding safeguarding, child protection, and confidentiality protocols at all times.
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures and school policies.
Requirements for the role include:
* GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English at grade 4/C or above.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Being a compassionate, patient, and adaptable individual.
* Ability to work independently across different settings.
* Strong communication skills to build rapport with pupils, families, and colleagues.
* Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people.
