We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities will include assisting with medication administration, managing prescriptions, and ensuring the pharmacy operates smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
* Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
* Manage prescription orders, including receiving, processing, and verifying prescriptions
* Provide medication administration support under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
* Offer excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and providing information on medications
* Organise and maintain pharmacy inventory, ensuring stock levels are adequate
* Assist in the training of new staff members as required
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is highly desirable
* Wards (MMT) or (ACT Accredited)
* Strong understanding of medication administration and patient care principles
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards
