An excellent opportunity has arisen to join Kingdom Cleaning as a Cleaning Operative, working at an shopping centre in Chippenham, SN15 area. The Shopping Centre Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers, tenants, and visitors. Key duties include conducting regular floor checks throughout the shopping mall to identify and promptly clean any spillages or remove rubbish from the floor. The role also involves ensuring both main entrance doors are kept clean and presentable at all times. In addition, the cleaner is required to check public toilets every hour, ensuring they are clean, hygienic, and well-stocked. The ideal candidate will be reliable, attentive to detail, and capable of maintaining high cleanliness standards in a busy public environment. Responsibilities: Below is not an exhaustive list and any other reasonable and fair role relevant tasks may be added: The Cleaner will be responsible for cleaning all areas within the shopping centre as outlined in the contract. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, ensuring all cleaning activities are carried out safely and hygienically. Conduct regular floor checks throughout the mall to identify and clean spillages and remove rubbish. Sweep, vacuum, and mop hard floors and carpeted areas, including walkways and common areas. Dust and wipe down surfaces such as ledges, windowsills, counters, fixtures, and seating areas. Clean internal glass, including shopfront glass, doors, and entrance areas. Empty general waste and recycling bins and dispose of rubbish in accordance with procedures. Clean and sanitise public toilet facilities, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and countertops. Check public toilets at regular intervals and replenish consumables such as soap, toilet paper, and hand towels. Clean food court and common seating areas, including tables, chairs, and surrounding surfaces. Ensure entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas are kept clean, safe, and presentable at all times.
