Contract: Full-Time (Term Time Only)About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school setting in Rugby.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to access education, build confidence, and develop essential life skills in a structured and supportive environment.Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with additional needs
* Support students with ASD, SEMH, MLD and complex needs
* Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
* Support behaviour management and emotional regulation
* Encourage independence, social skills and personal development
* Help maintain a safe, positive and structured learning environment
What you'll need to succeed
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN
* Patient, resilient and empathetic approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
* Passion for supporting individuals with additional needs
