You can be fully remote, hybrid or office based (Haddenham). The team is remotely based.
The Role
This role will provide an opportunity to contributeto the overall success of Defaqto as you will be part of ateam, which manages the commercial relationship between Defaqto and General Insurance providers. You willmake sure they continue to purchase and use our software and our marketing solutions and by supportingeach account in maximising the investment they make in our products and services, you willidentify new opportunities to increase income.
You will manage a portfolio of our client base and ensure that they are maximising the value from our products and actively seek out new ways of extending their investment in our solutions.Key to your success will be to raise awareness and understanding of Defaqto and be able to articulate and coordinate the delivery of solutions that will help clients attain their business goals.
You will need to regularly travel to client offices and develop strong working relationships to be successful and as you build on your existing general insurance product knowledge, you will be able to positionDefaqto's expertise and insight across the various functions within the client organisation.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* An understanding of general insuranceproducts andtheir distribution in the UK
* To be able to demonstrate a good understanding of how intelligence led decision making drives better outcomes
* Experience of selling software as a service, and subscription based sales - this is desirable rather than essential
* To have demonstrable success in previous similar roles within the general insurance sector
If you are looking for your next step up in to account management or looking to build on your existing experience and you have experience working in the general insurance sector, then we'd be delighted to hear from you.
You will need a valid UK Driving Licence and to be able to travel with overnight stays as and when required. As well as travel to client sites, there is a a regular monthly meeting onsite at our Defaqto offices in Haddenham and this will involve an overnight stay.
Finally, you will be comfortable carrying a target, be personable and inquisitive with a need to know more and be determined and resilient.
