About the role
Please note this role will be a hybrid working arrangement with a maximum of 2 days based in ourCrieffHydro office, located around 30 minutes from both Perth and Stirling.
This is a fixed-term maternity cover contract for a minimum of 12 months (until October 2026). We’re offering either a 25- or 30-hour contract, with genuine flexibility on how you work those hours between Monday and Friday. Prefer shorter days spread across the week? Or longer days with more time off? We’re happy to make it work. The hourly rate is £12.50–£13.22, depending on experience.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Finance team which is spread across our various sites. We are looking to help the family grow and develop their business further and this role is perfect for someone who enjoys a fast-paced enviroment, working with a whole mix of clients, collegues and departments where one day is never the same as the next.
Attention to detail is key for this role alongside a pro-active attitude as you will be in charge of the day to day management of the accounts recievable ledger for various locations across the group. You will manage the ledgers from event dates to final invoicing and the retrieving of funds, working alongside our key client contacts.
The successful candiate needs to have an eye for detail, be approachable and comfortable working as part of a team.
Your key responsibilities
1. Invoicing and Billing - Generating and creating invoices in line with contractual payment terms ensuring accurate billing
2. Payment Processing- Recieving, recording and reconcilling payments recieved
3. Collections Of Funds - Following up outstanding invoices, negotiating payment arrangements and resolving payment issues
4. Account Management -Managing credit risk while maintaining customer accounts/records
5. Record Keeping and Reporting -Preparing reports and ensuring aged analysis is up to date
Required Skills and Qualifications
This role will require you to balance your own workload throughout busier periods with a proactive approach and strong time management skills. Ideally, you should also have previous ledger management experience, accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
