The Role
The Faculty of Education, Health and Human Sciences is seeking a Senior Education Officer to deliver a high‑quality, student‑focused administrative service across all faculty programmes. Join a team that takes pride in student success and excellence in day‑to‑day operations. Working across three dynamic schools, this pivotal role will enhance the student experience and contribute to their success. As a key member of the team, you will lead and line‑manage staff, ensuring robust systems and processes are in place. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional programme administration, ensuring efficient and effective services across departments, schools and the faculty. This includes ensuring students receive an excellent customer experience and that administrative procedures are consistently applied. The successful applicant will be based on the Avery Hill Campus.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with proven administrative experience, preferably within a large and complex organisation – ideally in higher education. You will be ready to step up to managing others or have experience. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, the ability to build positive working relationships with administrative and academic colleagues, excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise a busy schedule of work to achieve objectives. You will have strong IT skills and enjoy multi‑tasking, managing several projects simultaneously. Comfortable with rapid change, you are happy to be part of a close‑knit team with shared objectives. Your track record includes servicing formal meetings, using record systems and databases, and a commitment to continuous improvement and solving challenges through innovation. Great problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, alongside accuracy and an eye for detail, are crucial.
