What You’ll Be Doing:
* Act as a key contact for 2nd line support across Acturis and related insurance systems
* Provide clear, actionable insights and updates to senior management
* Support a range of projects using Acturis as the core back-office system
* Assess and manage the impact of system upgrades, creating user-friendly guides and training materials
* Collaborate with Super Users and provide targeted training when needed
* Keep system configuration records accurate and up to date
* Continuously look for opportunities to streamline processes and introduce automation
* Capture user feedback and pass on improvement suggestions to Acturis
* Contribute to user knowledge-sharing by promoting best practices and helpful tips
* Lead and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for new features and templates
* Respond to internal support requests, ensuring timely and efficient resolutions
* Keep users informed as their queries progress
* Maintain the helpdesk log, follow up on open issues, and escalate when necessary
* Identify patterns in support queries and determine whether training, fixes, or development changes are needed
* Provide support to the document templates team as required
* Mentor and support the development of colleagues in the systems team
What You’ll Bring:
* Solid hands-on experience supporting Acturis
* Solid background in systems support or business systems administration
* Experience within the insurance or financial services sector
* Understanding of industry regulations (GDPR, FCA, TCF)
* Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
* Confidence translating complex tech-speak into business-friendly language
* Sharp attention to detail and a methodical mindset
* Skilled at juggling priorities and delivering under pressure
* Confident engaging with stakeholders across all levels
* Comfortable mentoring and supporting team members
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
