Job Summary
This is an exciting time to be working in general practice and shaping the future for primary care. We are seeking an experienced, motivated and forward thinking pharmacist to be an integral part of our pharmacy team for Brighton North and Central PCN. We are a network of four GP practices working collaboratively for our local population of approximately 42,000 patients within Brighton.
Main Duties
The post holder will provide primary support to general practice staff across the PCN regarding prescription and medication queries. They will support the repeat prescription system, undertake Structured Medication Reviews (SMRs), and support the transfer of care from different settings. The post holder will contribute to delivery of enhanced and local commissioned services, the local medicines optimisation strategy, and manage aspects of the Quality and Outcome Framework (QOF). They will also support the PCN Directed Enhanced Service (DES).

North and Central Brighton PCN is a group of four GP practices working collaboratively for our local population of approximately 42,000 patients across Brighton and Hove. We are a dynamic and supportive PCN covering a diverse cohort of patients, including a large student population. The successful post-holder will join and work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including pharmacy technicians, clinical pharmacists and other healthcare professionals. The PCN encourages development into a prescriber and offers support for CPPE primary care pharmacy education pathway.

Qualifications
* Masters degree in pharmacy (MPharm) or equivalent
* Clinical diploma (Desirable)
* Independent prescriber (Desirable)
* Working towards RPS foundation or advanced Pharmacy Framework (Desirable)
Experience
* Minimum of 3 years post‑qualification experience
