Overview
Join Kainos in Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom as EDM Engagement Manager. You will manage the successful implementation of the Employee Document Management (EDM) application for Workday, collaborating with client business teams and delivery teams, and overseeing the full delivery lifecycle.
Responsibilities
* Commercially manage the EDM implementation for Workday from pre-sales through implementation to handover to AMS.
* Act as key client interface between functional and technical teams and the client.
* Provide domain experience (HCM, Finance, Payroll) to inform functional insights.
* Manage all aspects of project delivery including planning, resourcing, milestones, commercial management, and customer satisfaction.
* Lead blended teams of colleagues, client, and partner resources to deliver integrated solutions.
* Agree objectives, milestones, timescales, and contract/commercial terms with client.
* Identify requirements, processes, configurations, testing plans and document artifacts for knowledge transfer.
* Create well-structured deliverables and present recommendations to client steering groups.
* Identify opportunities to win business and negotiate at senior client levels.
Minimum Requirements
* Experience implementing Workday (or other ERP) with successful delivery in a consulting/IT services environment.
* Full lifecycle project management experience from opportunity through go-live and service management.
* Excellent customer focus and ability to manage expectations and resolve escalations.
* Commercial experience managing geographically distributed teams.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills with senior client audiences.
* Strong business writing skills for documentation, contracts, and change requests.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and balance customer demands with commercial considerations.
* Support operations to optimize consultant utilization while balancing development needs.
Desirable
* Workday PM Certification (preferred).
* Experience mentoring/developing teams.
* Experience with Workday or SaaS delivery methodologies.
* PRINCE2 or similar certification.
* Functional domain expertise in HR and Finance.
