Are you looking for a fulfilling career where you can truly make a difference?
We’re recruiting Care and Support Workers to join our dedicated teams at Craven Day Service and Jubilee Lodge Short Breaks Service. We have various contacted hours available, and we are looking for people with the right values and behaviours to join us– could this be you?
About the Role
You’ll be supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, and Autism in a person-centred way. Whether it’s helping someone access community activities, supporting their independence, or simply being a friendly face. Having a full driving licence would be an advantage but not essential. We are an active community, so try to get out and about as much as possible. No two days are the same!
You don’t need to have previous experience of working in care, nor do you need qualifications, we will support you with specific training and qualifications required for the role. We’re keen to recruit someone who is passionate about working with the people we support and who can help us ensure our workplace values are at the heart of everything we do.
These values are:
* Dignity and respect
* Learning and reflection
* Working together
* Commitment to quality care and support
Are these values important to you? If so, we would love to hear from you!
At NYC we offer a range of benefits including:
* Full support to achieve level 2 in Health & Social Care
* Extensive training and learning
* Opportunities for progression into other roles
