Role Overview Reporting to a Senior Software Engineer your role will be vital in supporting the future development and expansion of the Embedded Software team. This is a hands-on role where you can apply your knowledge of C/C++ programming to design, implement and test embedded software, from machine interfaces to human interfaces, across our extensive range of ETL products. Key Accountabilities Design, development and test of embedded software in C for Linux and PIC based Microcontrollers Developing and debugging embed systems using a wide range of communication protocols and peripherals Supporting hardware and simulation in the loop testing, integration and validation activities Collaborating with electronics, systems and mechanical engineers to deliver integrated solutions Contribute to system architecture design as necessary Supporting continuous improvement and delivery Knowledge of embedded Linux and C/C++ build systems Our ideal candidate We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer with expertise in real-time embedded systems and embedded Linux to join the Embedded Software Team. Although previous experience in the Radio Frequency, Software Defined Radio, and Satellite industry would be an advantage, it is not a requirement. The key requirement for success in this position is a strong knowledge of C programming and a strong desire to acquire new skills.
