In this role, you will report to the Adult Social Care Assurance & Business Manager and be primarily based at the Civic Centre, though the work may take you to various locations.
What you will do:
- Collaborate closely with the Assurance & Business Manager to support and monitor the Adult Social Care quality assurance systems, ensuring readiness for inspections.
- Manage resources and projects focused on improvement across Adult Social Care.
- Support assurance activities, ensuring compliance with key reporting requirements on corporate, regional, and national levels.
- Develop and enhance quality assurance systems to enforce compliance with business processes, data monitoring, and audits.
- Provide guidance and create materials related to all aspects of quality assurance and compliance.
- Produce and analyze reports to present to heads of service and managers, evaluating performance and recommending improvements.
- Attend and present data at meetings, contributing to ongoing quality improvements.
- Assist in inspection preparations, including evidence compilation and self-assessments.
- Maintain up-to-date content on the local offer website for adult social care, overseeing regular reviews.
- Support business continuity planning and ensure the compliance of the service with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Evaluate and manage risks, ensuring the implementation of measures to mitigate any potential issues.
