We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Midwife with an interest in clinical research to join our dynamic research team at University College London Hospital on a 12 month fixed term contract.
While prior research experience is preferred, it is not essential as full training will be provided. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to quickly understand and implement complex academic protocols, possess strong attention to detail, excellent time management and organisational skills, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Applicants must meet all the essential criteria listed in the Person Specification and align with the Trust's vision and values. Ideally, candidates will have at least 2 years of post-registration experience and a genuine interest in clinical research.

Main duties of the job
This role involves the delivery and oversight of two trials: the ACES trial, assessing the feasibility and acceptability of implementing cytomegalovirus (CMV) screening in antenatal care, and the Flip2 trial, a randomised controlled trial exploring whether the vaginal probiotic LACTIN-V (Lactobacillus crispatus) reduces preterm birth risk in high-risk women.
