Job Summary Oversee the duties and responsibilities of day-to-day Senior Machinist duties as directed below. Primary Responsibilities Include: Performing complex CNC machining tasks to produce high-precision components. Setting up machines, selecting tooling, and optimising machining processes. Machining components to API standards and Premium Connections specifications. Reviewing engineering drawings and advising on production methods. Training and mentoring machinists and trainees. Monitoring machine performance and coordinating maintenance. Assisting the Lead CNC Machinist in planning and coordinating production schedules. Maintaining accurate production records and reporting issues proactively. Promoting health, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications/Requirements: Extensive experience in CNC machining and manufacturing environments. Strong knowledge of CNC machine operation, tooling, and programming (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, or equivalent). Proven experience machining API standards and Premium Connections. Proven ability to mentor or train junior staff. Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specification. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of quality standards, measurement techniques, and inspection methods. IT literacy (CNC software, MS Office, or workshop management systems).
