Week 2: Monday – Friday
What You Will Do
* Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on critical electrical systems.
* Diagnose and repair complex faults in plant equipment and automation systems.
* Work hands‑on with PLCs, digital drives, and AC/DC motors.
* Interpret technical drawings to ensure all work meets high engineering standards.
* Contribute to technical investigations and improvement activities to boost plant performance.
* Uphold rigorous Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
Qualifications
* HNC level qualification, typically gained through a craft or modern apprenticeship in electrical/process control engineering.
* Previous experience in a plant or heavy industrial environment.
* Deep understanding of modern electrical systems and safety protocols, paired with strong fault‑finding skills.
* Ability to work independently under pressure and effectively communicate with the wider team.
