About Our Client
As Management Accountant, you will take ownership of the month-end process for multiple entities, ensuring high-quality reporting and robust balance sheet control. Alongside core accounting responsibilities, you'll play a key role in modernising reporting processes, improving data flows and enhancing automation across the finance function.
Job Description
The key responsibilities of the Management Accountant include:
3. Preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts
4. Ownership of key balance sheet reconciliations
5. Supporting year-end audit and statutory reporting
6. Budgeting and reforecasting support
7. Strengthening financial controls and improving processes
8. Enhancing reporting through Power Query, Power Pivot and data modelling
9. Developing clear, visually engaging dashboards and reports
10. Standardising templates and automating repetitive tasks
11. Supporting internal audits and control compliance
12. Partnering with stakeholders across the business
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
13. ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or nearly qualified with strong experience
14. Confident owning month-end processes
15. Advanced Excel skills including Power Query, Power Pivot and complex formulas - Ideal
16. Experience building or improving dashboards, ideally using Power BI
17. Naturally analytical and curious
18. Motivated by continuous improvement and efficiency
19. Strong communicator, able to challenge and influence positively
